Just a quick line to say thanks to all for the help after my fall in qualifying.
Special thanks to Harrie and Gilps and Dave Ainsworth (sp?)( no 93 class a) for lending me the parts so that I got out for race two.
Sadly won't be at Assen but looking forward to catching up with everyone at Pembrey.
Enjoyed racing with you again ID - getting to be a bit of a habit you coming by on the last lap!

Just wondering if anybody knows who the guys was that took the four pictures of me gracefully 'stepping-off' my bike at Lodge? He came and said Hello to me after race one but my head was a bit fuzzy and I didn't catch his name.

Hi all, great to meet you this weekend. Some new faces for me and also some familiar ones. Everyone was lovely and friendly and there was a great turn out considering the rain (Friday) and the clash with the Bristol meet.

Firstly may I say well done to all the racers you were fantastic!

Nogaromill (36), what a great bloke! Spent far too much time helping everyone else and neglecting his own prep. Had time for everyone and generous to a fault.

Dan (46), you earned plenty of respect for picking yourself up and getting back out there buddy, very cool sir!

Imola (80), grit and determination, dug deep and held off 955SP and Nogaromill in some great close racing

Satan's pet penguin (96), made me feel warm and welcome all weekend. Sarah was by far the most stylish in her new Elvis, child attracting leathers.

955SP (102), what can I say? Amazing!, when I read the pre-race posts I thought 'this guy's going to get bum**d', how wrong could I be. What Hugh lacks in racing experience he more than made up for in talent and intelligence.

Ollie (42), well done mate

Harrie (6), Great to meet you, shame about the fork seal but at least you and the unflappable Douglas managed to fix things up for race 2. Great battle with Dan btw.

Lily (55), Nice to meet you Claire, great riding Mrs!

Others to mention,

Stevel, great to see you again. Rug and Rob998 who were off to Bristol. Jolley came from the Maldives to support (OK, it was Berkshire or Buckinghamshire but good effort fella). Ghost getting stuck in helping Dan, David and anyone else in need, SteveGD looking after Ollie. I'm sure I've missed someone out, so, sorry if I have.

I've posted some pics in the Gallery, not sure how to link to it so try this;

- Oulton Park Pictures

Hope to see you all again soon

Well done!
