"Pleased to meet you"

Just thought I'd say that it was good to meet Ducatisti members , David (NM), Steve (ID), Sarah (penguin) on Friday evening (and Dan of course, although we've met before. Sorry that you crashed Dan but glad you got out again. Good to meet you again Katherine, your enthusiasm is infectious.

I would have liked to pop round during race day to say hello to people but having won prat of the day award and missed my first race I had to get away from it all to cool down and get my head together again.

I signed up for the SV race to get some race start practice in the end and then just hung around at the back. still kicking myself for having missed the first race.

Second race kind of made up for it there seemed to be a 3 or 4 bike tussle for most of the race. Was gutted when near the end of the race I missed a gear and struggled to get it in gear again and the people I had passed came sailing by. I tried to catch and take them again which ended up with a 3 bike race to the line which was exciting. All in all I was a satisfied 13th.

Just like to thanks Chas for his help, Graham Blakey, Earl and Ali Knight and James the 2nd ??? for trying to make me feel better and get focused.

See you soon

Franco

A pleasure to meet you once again also Franco, although gutted to hear you didn't have your Bedford beast with you, now that would have been paddock van envy!

You've a stunning bike also, was that a 749 fairing on a DD bike I saw... nice!

Hi Franco was great to meet you ,, I didn't realise you missed 1st race ,, bummer huh ,, Harriebird saved me from doing that at Mallory just ,, the panic is still with me now ,, but well done in 2nd race (good innit lol ),,, I have a confession tho , on unpacking I found your valve adapter from your electric pump was still in the footpump , I will bring it with me and apologise if you need it b4 sorry I am guilty of something that really bugs me (running off with borrowed tools ) Take care , be bad , have fun and looking forward to seeing you next time ,, Pingu
