Donna
I have just caught up with this thread and I will drop a cheque into you this weekend if that's okay.
A very worthy cause I reckon.

A bit of money heading towards Dan today...
Hi all.
I got the Paypal payment into my account today and so have made a transfer (since it's fast, easy and charge-free) straight to Dan's account this afternoon. Previously transfers took 3 days, but there's a new system in place that means his account will be more healthy in about 3 hours time
We've had a couple of late donors and so a revised total too. Thank you very much to the following 30 people who have so generously donated to Dan's Desmo-Due race fund :
andyRH, Balmy, Captain Soup, Cess pit, dakk66, david.hicks, David Matthews, dikadams, ducbird, Ghost, hughdg, Jezjay, Jolley, Knight Road Race Team, lowry, markm, Masher, MattBurf, mpk1967, Mrs H, NedLudd, Ozz, Pax, Rob998, rug2210, rupert, Steve GD, stevel, sweetpea, welsh999
Huge respect to you all
Confirmed final transfer to Dan this afternoon was:
£750.00
Well done fantastic Ducatisti team!
Given that we were originally looking for £280, the final total reached will enable Dan to get to 3 more races at least this year. That's incredible and testimony to the fact that so many people really value this Forum and the enormous effort Dan puts in to keep it going for us - and are willing to help Dan in this very obvious way to get some benefit from the hard work he puts in. This figure will not pay for internet hosting and software upgrades though: it will buy tyres, race entry fees, fuel for travel and races and perhaps a cup of tea and a burger on the day.
All donators will have heard from me by now regarding little presentation to Dan. If you don't know the when and how then PM me for info.
Good luck to Dan (and the other DD racers of course!) for this weekend. Drinks are on Dan!
Will report back one last time after the weekend.
Dancing bananas to close (because I like them)
Cheers. Donna

Thank you all so very much, I really am humbled by your enormous generosity!
On Sunday whilst embarrassing me with the an enormous cheque at an impromptu get together (above photos), Mrs.H quietly remarked in the nicest possible way with a cheeky grin and a broad smile, "at present you're a bit of a crap rider, but you run a cracking website!"
I'm glad you all enjoy this little online gathering we've found ourselves logging onto each day, and shown your thanks by supporting me in a dream come true and enabled me to bike race (a Ducati) with a great deal less financial stress. I'll try to keep you updated on how things are going in my DesmoDue Blog ( Click Here), however please believe that although for me bike racing may get a little frustrating at times I'm having a great time in superb company.
Many thanks again for your support, and watch out for your names on my bike at Brands Hatch!

Thanks
This may be a bit late, I seem to have misplaced a week somewhere, The FooFighters at Wembley and the job interview from hell had something to do with it.
Suffice to say a big THANKYOU to Mrs H for the organisation and for making giving money away to a good cause so painless
Mark
