Pembers revisited... (PLUS VID)

Ok... well being skint and having to work, i couldnt afford/take the time off to go to a test day all the way over there, besides, im currently relying on others to cart the bike around for me and couldnt possibly expect someone to travel to wales so i could do a test day lol!

saturday was spent trying to remember where all the bumps and curbs were, and i think i found most of them managed to settle down and pop in some 1'11's though so not too bad, my fastest lap of the day was posted towards the end of the 20 minute race. Not bad and felt confident i could drop to 1'10's on the sunday.

sunday qualifying, and i was pretty rubbish, and added 3 more seconds to may lap times! eeek! p15, and the grid was very tight so i wouldnt be able to make much ground on the start.

race 1 went very badly for me. i just couldnt find my mojo at all, and ended up circulating on my own towards the tail end. not good. better off forgotton and not talked about.

went back to the marquee and had a stern talking to myself, ate, had coffee, and even managed a little nap, waking up just not long before we were due to go out for race 2.

race 2 was an improvement! the start was a bit naff, but managed to get my head into gear and give chase to jpm and rich cashmore. I stalked them like a stealth ninja gypsy and pikey'd my way past jpm at the hairpin and rich at the fast right kink, and managed to hold them off for another lap or 2 until the flag to finish 8th, having dropped back into 1'11's.

was really peeved about race 1, i dunno what i said to myself, i just quietly mumbled and grumbled and called myself names even harsher than you all do. was glad to get my head back on though

vid footage will be on youtube shortly, wont bother putting race 1 up cos quite frankly, it was boring. but race 2 has some good footage! quality is down a bit, i think i had the recorder too close to the rear coil and caused some interference.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

the youtube video compressors should have it in high quality by the time you all wake up you'll have to click on the vid to go to youtube, then select 'watch in high quality' (same with the assen vid and the oulton vid)

i've FINALLY managed to suss out getting youtube to get the sound in sync! hoorah!

dont forget to go to youtube and RATE IT!!

You came out of nowhere in race two Trouty it woke me up as I just wasn't gaining on Rich, but as soon as you went by I stepped up a gear and overtook Rich and was sat on your tail for the remaining two laps, I tried to show you a wheel here and there but you just had the edge on the brakes.

Good ride, you seemed happy at the line

i'v got enough spare vid equipment to fit up another bike, so if anyone is interested in buying a setup, let me know. camera and digi recorder unit (plus a foam lined metal tin to tuck the recorder in).
£80
the recorder is new and used once for testing. you will need a microphone (optional, its not a necessity), and a battery pack (tenner from ebay)

Good vid that Trouty, you liked the rumbles at the old hairpin a little too much tho'

Useful having the sound of the bike more, rather than the chat or music as it helps us newbies see where its rolled off and reapplied.

There is a version of it on youtube without the soundtrack overlaid, i'v just made it available publicly and the higher quality version of it is available. YouTube - dcurzon1973's Channel

I didn't make myself clear, yours was fine, its just when the whole vid is bled over I find annoying.
