Lol you are off your head. It doesn't really bother me, as the age I am when I started riding there was no hanging off. Look at Ago Hailwood Surtees.
But with the more modern cycle it has been proven to work as the tyres offer so much more.
So I am sort of having to learn to ride again.
Its just with nice shiny shiny sliders I feel a bit of a wus. I'd prob feel a bigger wus if I threw it up the road trying.
2 weeks to go and the bike is ready and waiting, I'm like a kid waiting for xmas. If some 900 headers arrive in time I may have something to do, cutting and shutting to get them installed.

Honestly, don't worry about what you look like or whether your knee is down or not.
This year I've had my knee down at two corners at Oulton and most corners at Assen - that's it.
I didn't get it down at all at Mallory (apart from my crash!) and Pembrey.

Suze - camping is fine there. You have only tarmac in the paddock - or can go up past the Kentagon & find a grassy field to pop a tent up in too.
Showers & grub there too (grub not so cheap tho).
C U there burd

I'm taking my Mountain Bike to Brands to do 'Bike Walk' as well as a track walk, may help to get a few more laps in.
I've been speaking to a couple of people via PM's about this intension, however with all this talk above regarding this years knee down action it's got me thinking, has anybody got their knee down on a mountain bike?
Really looking forward to Brands, how hard is it on tyres?

Dan i only got my knee down twice this year, round gerrards and the hairpin at mallory, and also round honda curve at pembry!
I not fussed about it if it happens it does, we are tall you know so it dont always happen..
Oh and my deal is on £10 if you get your knee down on the mountain bike!!
