I'm with Trouty. Harden up you poofs! Yes it's slippery in the wet but I did qualifying there with a brand new set of tyres that had never turned a wheel in the wet and stayed on. Wasn't a great qually spot but you're right, it's slippery as hell. Just behave yourselves.

In the dry its awesome but you can't go properly fast there without a lot of time to link all the turns together because the circuit flows one corner to the next. You need to understand how each corner exit impacts the next corner entry to really be on it.

Now dry your eyes and get on with it

Back in my home town......(he whispers) Luton..... i lived directly under the flight path, and the only thing that made me crash my road bike(on mothers day delivering my mother her card and pressie!! dammit!!) was the bloody hourly vauxhall factory Hgv trucks spilling diesel everywhere daily!!, never had an issue with the planes, even my old school was on the flight path. never an issue, even in the ice and snow! i lived on a ruddy big hill too i-tell-thee!!

But hey the way i'm goin this year dibs on being the first to eat gravel!!!(i usually do at donny lol!)

...AAAAAnyway, this is supposed to be a thread about brands!!! so come on...any predictions?!... c'mon!! i need some gosip!!!

Well I think Brands isn't too bad in the wet to be honest. But then I got a 7th and a 4th place on a bike I'd never ridden before in Class A two years ago.

I just love the place - it's Brands Hatch FFS!

Look out if I'm on the grid on Sunday, I'm coming for all of you! I'm pumped mofo's!

odd info about times at Brands

2006 saw the races being in chilly torrential rain at Brands in April that year.

This didnt stop a fantastic EPIC pair of Class A races with Domski & Andy J (on our Tango) having a great battle - swapping places all the time, fairing scraping & generally ignoring the deluge in each race - and the stream at the bottom of Paddock hill.
Best time in those conditions for a 620 was 1.02.64 (our 'Tango' with Andy J)

Dry conditions last year (very hot & dry) produced 55.73 as the Class A winning time Hawk 66 on our Monster 620 Tango) of 28 starters
and 58.59 in Class B (Griff 64 on his 583 SS) of 32 starters.

Hope this helps put the marker in for you lads.

CK
