Hadnt read the thread Hot off the Press - Brands Hatch Round yet and didnt know about the reserve list. CANT BELIEVE THIS. My local track, one that I have actually been around a few times and actually half know what im doing. I guess I only have myself to blame as more entries might have got 2 grids.

I really do feel for everyone, I know finances are the key thing here. But i recon it's just the way it goes. And there must be a good reason for it... call it fate.

On a different note, i'm lookin into buyin a road bike...long time away! but wot is a 955sp? i've only seen yours, wot is the spec of it? sorry to ask but it's really bugging me??!!

thanks

Finances wernt an issue this time just wasnt on top of paperwork and been busy.

Anyhow, 955sp is a 1996 916sp but with a 955cc engine (not a race engine).
About 50 were made to go to the states and homolgate the 955 Corsa for the AMA racing. Of which about 11 were then privately (grey) imported to England and were sold, mine came to the UK from Ducati direct to race in the TT but wasnt eligible and it got sold privately and since seeing it in a Mag 11 years ago I now own it (I think the only genuine UK bike) and have spent lots of my saving on WSB bits to make it a bit trick.

SO GUTTED ABOUT BRANDS THAT THERE MIGHT BE A DD BIKE FOR SALE! Just because for the first time I would actually be racing in the proper sense not just going around somewhere I dont know and risking my life going faster than I sensibly should.

Please please dont say that!! And James tosland and others are usually risking their lives going faster than I sensibly should, on tracks they do and don't know fella!!

As far as i was told you were flying round Mallory b4 your grass trecking!! so as far as i'm concerned we ALL are racers!! know wot i mean, but i really do fell your disappointment, feel for you fella i really do.

But i do really believe in fate! so there is a reason for it... Maybe better for you in the long run.

As for the bike stuff, she looks awsome!! love the wheels!(might nick that idea??) and the single head light is just Lush!!! gotta love that too!!

Might go for a 955 look-e-likie!!...but it's a loooooooooooooooonnnnggg way off yet! way way off!! Wanna do a full season of DD first!!!

ok, I am gathering up my toys now and putting them back in my cott! I'm not bothered about the points just wanted to race! Also don't think that the Toseland comparison is the best. My opinion is that if you have not done atleast a trackday, if not more than that, at a track then you HAVE to be taking risks unless u are either toseland inthe making or you aren't really racing/pushing it. My opinion.

I agree to a point, but there are alot of peeps out there that are all mouth and have no 'sack' at all to even race after goin on a trackday, so i do believe more credit should be placed by your self on your own shoulders fella. i really do. But again, saturday should still be open mate! go for it!
