To everyone out on track this weekend at Brands, please keep it shiny side up - and hope you all have a great time there

Am off later this morning to take the scenic route on my bike (AK can bring my portable bedroom later after he finishes work tonight ) so see some of you later today.

Good luck to all.

added: AK says he is lobbing in all our spare 583 parts and anything else we are now not using into the van, so if anyone has a 'bump' & needs bits he'll try & help - or sell you spares if you want them.

Yes, cheers Charlotte and Lin.....like Phil, I am fired up as I havent ridden her since my disastrous Assen, so I'm hoping for a more fruitful Brands and some decent points...I lost 5 places by not going to Pembrey.......
And I'll take this opportunity to wish all DD riders and anyone else venturing out on tracks this weekend good luck too.......and stay safe......

hola from sunny Brands!

I popped over yesterday to meet people, say hi and take a few piccies. Above are a contingent from the London branch of the ukmoc who rode out to see the racing.

AK wasn't racing, so he brought something to work on - can't be at a racetrack without tools

Sound of Thunder were there too:

This one is a 916 with a 999 engine

not sure what this is, but its got a 998 engine

this one is really interesting - a 916 with 1098 engine and other bits.

The exhaust pipes are from a 999 with AK cans on

built in a guys garage. Hats off mate!

Off to race:

These are all taken at the top of Paddock Hill and should be in sequence. There should be a pic of Mike Dawson at the front, but he too fast for the camera

I've got loads more - took 600 shots on the day. Go to jerryxt/Brands DD - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting for more pics. If there's anything you like the look of, let me know and I'll get them to you full size - 3872 x 2592 so you should be able to find something and cut yourself out if you want!
