Indeed the 2nd race today was held in the dry

Great weekend, got sunburnt (very) on Friday during the afternoon after I shot down on my bike to catch up with people who were doing the trackday.
Saturday produced some good racing, with some very tight moments on occasions. (yellow flags need to be remembered!)
Lots of banter Sat night in the paddock, a few drinks...
Sunday - wet all morning, tho qually was done on wet track & the rain stopped for long enough for all to get round safely.
Nick B #34 taking pole for 620 (what a wet meister that guy!) and Senna getting on the front row in 4th overall and best 583 qually.
Monsoon arrived about 1 min into the 1st DD race eventually flags out - couldnt see who had come off, then the all clear as it had been stopped due to the horrendous rain.
2nd race dry - track pretty dry too. Bit of fairing bashing, Mike Dawson taking lead - Cobby passing him on penultimate lap & making it stick. Senna3 leading the 583's for the first half till Matt & Cleggy passed him. Bit of fairing bashing from several quarters down the field, one person doing a very dangerous move which resulted them in being called to the officials office, tho final result was left to stand after all.

Well done to all the Ducatisti people out there, some personal triumphs going on - many had knees quaking due the the wet, all came back in one piece, tho a couple of bikes dented a little - nobody needing the medics tho.

Ghost - love the gizmo's you have made to assist you doing the bike
Nogaro - shame about the bike not getting you round enough in qually, tho it managed to perform later.
Imola Duke - glad you got the clutch fixed mate
Zimbo - nice hat for the first race today
Dan - well done for keeping cool when being passed at such a speed by the leaders

Great to catch up with everyone - hope you all got/get home safely

CK

Thank you for your report CK. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing more when everyone else gets home. Looks like you had your fair share of rain - though there was more in the South West!
