My Brands thanks

As some/all/none of you may know, I had a coming together with an unidentified 125/250(?) during timed practice for SVs on Saturday, resulting me chasing my bike up the start/finish straight on my arse, and he/she buggering off never to be seen again.

I guess it had to happen at some point in my illustrious racing career, and I should be thankful that I was able to walk away from it. Plus, of course, my leathers now bear the hallmarks of a true racer - well, they're knackered now to be honest.

There is absolutely no way I would have got back out in time for the last DD race of the day if it weren't for the support and help from around the paddock, especially from Nogs, who lent me the one thing that couldn't be gaffered up - a crash helmet - and Sarah Jenkins, Mike Dawson, Gilps, Nick Bousted, AK & CK for various bits, pieces, tools, and words of encouragement. And someone lent me a can of yellow paint - forgotten who it was now! Sorry. Anyhow, thanks to you all. Very much appreciated.

That was the smell of fear, Nogs. Plenty more where that came from!

Jason - it was good to catch up with you again mate, just a shame that the first time we had a chance to have a proper chat was when you had a mullered bike
Well done for getting back out there and for getting back on the pace so quickly when you did

Thanks CK. Amazing what one can repair when needs must! I'm quite possibly the worlds worst engineer, so I'm glad there are others around who know what they are talking about...
