You did, Lin, but you have permanent sunshine in the hours of daylight and you can overtake on the nearside, so you gotta miss out on something, to even things up, right?

No big-bore kit...the engine is a genuine 583ccs, bore and stroke normal, so we can only assume that the dyno was very optimistic,

Does 57 refer to the extra fuel that you'll be useing for an extra bit of propulsion.

Right well tonight we have made even more progress,

We managed to get some replacement forks, from Imola Duke, cheers mate.

So we decided to replace the internals with the wilbers internals,

I decided to use Imola Dukes step by step guide (very Clear and easy to follow by the way)
so LH fork into pieces and cleaned up ready to re assmble, but not to be as the fork seals are for a 748, 998 etc, doh!! well only one whas, Whey we can put it back together cool,

so reverse the operations, do some little trickery with vacumes and oil, and job done!

We currently have the LH one new oil seals and dust cap (but seams to be weeping a little oil from top of dust cap?? is this correct) it may have been from where i smeared a little on it TBH.

so forks now feel a million times better,

Hoping tomorrow to get the other Oil seal replaced and do the other one, they really are so easy....

I think that the key to building a nice bike at a sensible price is learning to do all these little bits yourself! I love it, i so much prefer to be hands on....
