I am planning on getting heads of tomorrow, and if all is legal then we have a stomper of an engine,
So people stop worrying about this engine, all will be ready in time, all needs to be done for the bike for it to be running on track, no point only having half a job done to be honest..

C, thanks to A for the kind offer. Let's wait until we get the heads off before we make a decision, but I'd like to keep the offer open for now, if that's ok? I'll PM you with my number.

Ollie, a nice young lady and his "pipeline" are images I would rather not conjure with........

Fine. But no talk of pipelines, please. No tongues and no pipelines. OK?

Paivi, is that a topic for polite after-lunch conversation for a well brought up Gecko?

OK, at the risk of crossing posts with Ollie....here is the late breaking news....We have had the heads off the engine and measured the bore and stroke.....80mm x 58mm.
Woohoo it is a 583!!!

So the most likely explanation for the extraordinarily high power reading would be a Dyno error or calibration problem.

Yup, sounds like a ridiculously optimistic Dyno...I hope to have mine on one in the next 7-10 days....
