Glen? had you / have you tried to find aftermarket fairings/bits for the bike? I always said I would never trash another set of Factory fairings/Lights/etc etc. and since have always stripped and track preped before venturing out? Now I appreciate that this is not your average bike. Just wondered?

I know QB did a Desmo lookalike kit for the 999 and I'm guessing someone like sandbar might do? And then of course theres the tail unit? How the hell do you get a pattern one of those "knocked up"

thanks
Jimbers

Just seen you in this month's T.W.O Glen, got to applaud your attitude, these things are made to be ridden and this will inevitably lead to the odd mishap. Although it does seem that you have a habit of crashing expensive toys!
I hope the wait for replacement parts isn't too painful!

Well done Glen, use it for the purpose it was made for!
No point in buying one if you're not going to give it a good run round a track.

Great attitude mate, good on ya. Just hope you get it fixed up without too much trouble. Get back out there and spank it again!

Bike: 2008 Ducati 1098s Tricolore

was at Almeria, couple of laps in i think.
on the crash bung issue, a lot of people ive spoke to say that on track ( at higher speeds ) they cause loads more damage cos they tend to dig in and cause the bike to flip instead of sliding.
