Hi, I have just got off the phone to Ian at QB carbon, and he reckons he will have the moulds to make road and race fairings in carbon or plastic by the end of july. will keep you posted.

Hi Glen, get 2 sets (it'll save time in the long run )

Did you find out if Ducati can supply replacements? If so, are you getting the QB carbon ones just for the track?

Ducati will do replacements, but wont say when or even if this year, so I will be getting a set of race plastics for the track from QB carbon

I was chatting to Ducati UK's aftersales manager the other week. He said that the factory was struggling to get carbon fiber. It is holding up production of the 1098R and Desmosedici, so getting replacements could be a long way off.

Apparently BAE has bought up most of the world production of quality carbon to make the composite wings for the A380.
