I saw this the other day and im going to say something utterly outrageous...I think the demosedici is PIG UGLY. Yep, ive tried and tried....but i think that the front end looks like a guppy and the totally enclosed fairing reminds me of that old horrible CBR1000 from the late 80's. Yeah i know its rare and exotic and all that crap but im not getting suckered into the label man..If i see one in the flesh it may well be a totally different story (the 999 never photographs particularly well)...anyway, thats my 2 penneth.

Whoa....controversy alert! The looks are a personal thing, all different.....but the performance, pedigree and kudos are undeniable?

Wonder why he/she is selling it....
54 miles - that means he/she has only ridden it 50 miles....more to the point are they a forum member on here - or anyone know who's it is ?

"With a power output of 200 HP* at 13,800 rpm.."
A couple of guys on the RC30 message board have had their Desmosedicis on the dyno, and they are each putting out 170+hp. Moreover, having had them on the scales too, they've found that they weigh a hell of a lot more than Ducati are claiming.
Personally, I think this is the nicest Ducati since the 888, but it's too much hype!!

They're lovely in the light of day I agree. This one went for £40,600. Still, if I could, I would.

I agreed with Funky on the Guppy front and CBR jellymould looks....until i saw one at Ducati Manchester.
they look 100 times better in the metal, you just GOT TO try and get to see one/sit on one.
