Another Desmosedici on Ebay!

Appears to be a genuine new bike. The guy says it has the free servicing and all you need is fuel and insurance. Isn't he forgetting about tyres?

Ducati Desmosedici D16RR Moto GP on eBay, also, Ducati, Motorcycles Scooters, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 09-Aug-08 23:42:48 BST)

Just don't think that I could invest in something so exclusive and expensive. Let alone ride the darn thing. My nerves would be jangling for fear of falling of, having some kind thief reowning it or losing interest in it. Think I would prefer the 1098r, even thou it has a ott price tag.

I was told by a dealer that if you want a Desmosodeci that you should put your name on the waiting list as with the current credi crunch an awful lot of people are cutting back on their expensive toys and are not wanting them.

Shame the crunch has hit me just as hard otherwise I might be tempted.

There seems to be the odd cancelled order cropping up. I don't know who would be daft enough to phone and leave a deposit on one with white stripes down the side though....

Or just wait until the three years' free servicing on them has ended, when they may well become 'too hot to handle' for most people. (Do Haynes do a home servicing manual for this one..??)

The 848 is going up for sale next week because I have been "crunch" like a lot of folk.
