D16RR price increase facts
Hi jono_1uk,
It's true that the Desmosedici RR has gone up approx. 5000 (Euros) from February 1st but not for people that have already placed deposits. In actual fact, it's actually good news for anybody that placed deposits for bikes before Feb 1st because their bikes have just gone up in value.

Is that correct?
I thought the price on all orders was expressed to be variable?

Prices for ALL customers who put deposits down up to the 1st Feb will pay £37,500, after it's £40,000 - still top value. (whatever happend to that MV thing at £65k???? )
Confirmed by Ducati UK in a letter last week. other countries may not honor the original price but Ducati UK are.
(phew, got my order in just in time !!!)

A Desmosedici RR: In my dreams...... you would have thought 'Ducati UK' would offer me a test ride for devoting 1000's of hours to promoting their brand for free, I've even sent them a few emails in the vain hope of doing a bike review, but alas no reply.
As my Dad said to me when I was a lad, "expect nothing from nobody and you wont be disappointed!" However my 748 is still great and I'm very happy with it thank you very much, and it's mine, well.... just about, the bank manager hasn't got a licence!
£40,000 for a bike....... OH MY GOD! (But it's so Beautiful )

Dan, if I ever were to buy one, you'd be welcome to take it for an extended spin, I'm not territorial.
Alas, can't justify a third bike!

Just had confirmation from my supplying dealer that the price is indeed fixed at £37500-00, which is good news
The only downside is that delivery estimate remains a year off (I ordered in Sept and don't have a 999R)
