Capirossi's Desmosedici at BSB Silverstone

Did anyone see Capirossi's Desmosedici make a quick appearance at Sunday's BSB at Silverstone..??

I was sat in the sats opposite the Race control bldg having a look over at the pits when I saw a couple of Ducati bods pushing a Duke the wrong way down the pit lane.....had a double take and saw that it was a Desmosedici with 65 on the plates....... :wink:

Anyway they wheeled it down to the entrance of the pit lane and then on to the track.....stood there with it on a paddock stand looking around it and then started her up.... ...****** ell...that sounds sweet.....

It sat there for a bit being blipped and warmed up and then the paddock stand came off and then one of the Duke bods rode it a short way up the track and straight back in to the pit lane via one of the track access gates and that was it...straight back in the garage......

First time I've seen one let alone heard one and boy did it sound awsome.....shame it didn't do a complete lap....... :wink:

Have a look at the guy in the video who nearly sh*ts himself when they start the Desmo up.......

That bike is so loud, you have to hear it to believe it........ :wink:

Arr...that explains it....there was me thinking that smell was from coming from the wheelie bin under the Grand stand up wind from me....... ........
