That bike has had a fortune spent on it, Monty's done a lovely job and it's stunning. He bought it as a crash damage insurance write off. He brought it to the DSC trackday this year at Cadwell, just stunning all round.

It is indeed the same bike, and I have just collected her back from JHP today-she was having the belts checked and oil changed as the interim service at 600 miles.
John has also fitted an Akropovic can for me as the chrome mega was too LOUD and caused me problems meeting the 105db limit for trackdays-so you can imagine what it was like on the road...............109db as standard!
Anyway she has also been on the scales and the dyno results as follows:
Weight 165kg without fuel.
Power 103.8bhp @ 8200-standard is 85.5 @ 7750
Torque 74ftlbs @ 6200-standard is 66ftlbs @ 5750
Interesting thing is having studied the graph a bit more is she makes as much power at 6000rpm as the standard bike at peak-and then just keeps climbing-also 66ft lbs at 4800 which is standard bikes peak at 5750, then carries on in a lazy curve to 74ft lbs at 6200-she's still giving 66ft lbs at 8000!
Next stage is an adjustable ecu as John says she is still running very rich and should give about 108-110 bhp once the fuelling is set up
John

Thanks for the write up, Monty....
Charts look impressive....would be interesting to see pics with the Akrapovic exhaust on, too.

John (Hackett) did suggest that we could fit a power commander (PC3) but that would only allow us to get the fuelling right. The 'Nemesis' ecu allows you to adjust just about anything, so we can advance the timing and set the rev limiter higher since in it's current state of tune the bike is still making good power when she hits the limiter.

Monty,
Thinking about getting a rear set unit the same as yours for my 900ss - did you say it was from JHP?
Can you remember roughly how much it was? did it come unpainted ? if so what was the base colour.
thanks Dakk

The list cost of that little package was over £1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!-not that I paid anything like that for it. John got it for me from the factory as part of their inventory clear out-big discount.
