getting there, put another 6 grand on it today............. it hurt giving that money up, but oh well, bike finnaly paid for, just need to pay off the extras LOL
just waiting on the following......
Add carbon fibre belt cover
Add carbon fibre side panels
Add carbon fibre tank pad
Add carbon fibre fronair scoops
Have the yoke, handle bar clamps and fluid supports anodised black (like pegs)
Add a pipercross or similar race filter
Add silver alloy sub-frame, I’d love to have it fade into black as it becomes visible
Add HID lights
Add a “fabbri” dark tint double bubble screen
if you are interested in the figures, see the spread sheet.
I am going to 100% track the bike, will get experience on a ****ty 400 first though!

I'm confused, why are you doing this when you're saying this?

Is there a race series being set up to follow the night racing fad that seems to be taking the GP boys?
Or are you going to ride it on the road as well and it's 90% track and 10% road? Will you let the insurance know about the mods and have you got a quote yet?

sorry, when i say 100% track the bike, i should have said, the bike is certainly going to see a lot of track days.
You bought HID lights didn't you? I think i may have got the same ones as you, including the customs charge I paid £100 for 2 bulbs and 2 digital ballasts, i opted for the 8000k colour
and the insurance company know about the mods. Adds an extra £300 to the quote, although it's not insured yet, i removed it from my policy as i'm not riding it yet..
with 1ync, 22, garaged in london and valued at £20k, it's £2300 fc.
when i finally ride it for the fist time, i'll have 2ync and i'll be 23, so hopefully it'll drop to about 1800, maybe even less as other companies may quote me this time!

I got the 6000K, and the price has gone up although I don't recall getting stung by customs on those. If I did I guess it was around the same money.
What about the insurance, you'll be better off coming clean with all those extras, it'll sting you if you get it nicked or written off and they'll only cover standard kit.
Your paying for this in an unusual way, why not just save the money up, walk in and demand a huge reduction in the price as you are standing there WAD in hand?
Just saw your post about £2300 fc, I think the FC stands for something else! Like F*&^ing Hell!
I wish it were. Somewhere in my brain I have an "Off" switch, and I can be quite happily paying attention to CSI or whatever and all of a sudden I wake up at 04.00hrs, and it's not worth me going to bed, cos I'm a Postie, and I'd have to get up in an hour or so anyway! Mrs Rob has given up trying to wake me up to go to bed, cos I just don't!
The bike looks lovely...but for an extra £4000 you could have got the 1098R.
I am with Ebikeinsurance now and the cost for insuring the Tricolore or the 1098R is only £23 more on-top of my standard 1098 fully comp policy for which i pay £504 p/a...i am 40 with 1 year NCB and a SP30 which gave me 5 points (which really p1sses me off!).
