How does a 1098S compare to MV Agusta F4 1000 312R?

I have a MV F4 1000 312R and wondered if anyone here has, has had or ridden both these bikes and how they compare? I have never ridden a Ducati of any kind but I am very interested in getting one soon. I would be grateful for any observations and thank you in advance.

Bike: I Have MBS

miurasv... Have owned Ducs and MV's for years. My topline thoughts/impressions.

- I like how the Duc twin puts power to the ground, how it launches one out of curves, and prefer it to the MV at speeds below supersonic.

- The faster one is going, especially on more open and flowing circuits, road & track, prefer the MV.

- The lighter weight of the 1098 is striking. Flicking the thing from curve to curve is simply a matter of thinking about it.

- Love the booming l-twin exhaust note of the Ducati. Love the snarling roar of the i-4 MV. IMO, both are gorgeous.

- Have found both makes to be very reliable.

- Believe you will find the Ducati a great complement to the MV. You will gain an appreciation for each.
