carbon side panels

anyone on here replaced the panels below the seat with carbon ones? if you have where did you get them or did you use oem carbon ones? i think the 1098r ones have testrestretta or something written on them. so much cheap looking carbon around its hard to pick a good seller.

The DP carbon ones have the same "testrestretta evoluzione" the same as the standard
plastic ones. I got mine from emoto fit well carbon trader are supposed to be very good though and cheaper.

I bought the Ducati Performance ones, they fit well and are of decent quality. BTW they also have Testastretta Evoluzione embossed one them.

You can get them quite cheap directly from the factory in Eastern Europe carbon.sk - karbónové časti pre autá, motocykle. Quality is good, although not as good as the DP ones. I've got the undertank panels and airduct covers and they look great.

DP ones on mine, 240 odd. If someone wants to buy the bike in standard trim they'll be for sale, as will be the 70mm system, air tubes, sprocket cover, hugger, screen.

I'd have struggled buying carbon from elsewhere, in case it all looked different. There is some pretty moody stuff about.

I got all the carbon bodywork from Peter Wack (real name!!!) at carbon.sk.
Quality is OK he`s a nice guy to deal with and I know he is dealing direct with some of the Italian factories supplying parts.
take a look at my TNT on his site:

I spent yesterday fitting carbon side panels and seat air intakes from QB - quality is OK and the side panels come with black mesh which looks good - they fitted well. You need to strip the whole tail unit off and it's a time consuming job - very different to a 916 !! To finish the carbon air intakes off I used some black sealent as they didn't sit quite flush with the unit.

Nice bike David
