Wink Is it legal to.....

Sat behind a 1098 at some lights with an open, clear, countryside road in front.

Lights turn green and the rider pulled away without pulling a stonking great big wheely at any point!!!

Is this legal!!!

Did the rider defy some laws of physics,

Mark

you might be right - though there is too much water in the engine for my liking and twice as many shims to check etc.

Good on ya - to any 1098 owner (or any 'cati really come to think about it)

I will stay with my rattly old air cooled 2V for now.

cheers,

Mark

Didn't notice - surely one of these little beasties can paw the air even at reduced rev limits whilst running in!!

A doddle to wheely if you wanna in 1st 2nd and 3rd on power (not clutching it up) but not compulsory and it can be avoided .
A tad more difficult not to when pulling away sharpish, especially 2 up (eh Dean alias Bremalynchance).
We got it airborne accelerating off a r/about in 2nd gear when giving him a lift back from BSD Peterborough
