600ss Single to Twin Exhaust

Hi Guys,

As downpipes for the 600ss are looking more like rocking horse sh*t, I'm looking at converting to a twin exhaust system. My main query is will 900ss (98) downpipes fit a 600ss (94)? I know they probably won't so what mods would be needed???? Any advice appreciated.

I wouldn't bother. You will lose performance. Stick with the single pipe.

They will fit with a little modification - the 900 barrel length is slightly longer, so you'll need to cut down the downpipes a little. Also, once fitted they may make removing the oil filter difficult, so keep that in mind when fabricating any changes.

pipes from the 750ss of the same years will fit without problem. same height of head so same pipe length.. must be the right-hand side clutch slave models.
