Sprocket Carrier Bearing Removal

Any of you guys know how to remove the sproket carrier bearing from a 94' bike?
It seems that my unit is a tad different as that in the Haynes manual.

Sprocket Carrier Bearing Removal?

Hi Guys

I've a dodgy sprocket carrier bearing on my 94' 600ss that needs replacing. I appear to have a different unit as that in the Haynes manual as there is no circlip to remove and no spacer either. It appears to be 1 unit but on ordering the bearings from Ducati earlier, there are 2 sets.

Anyone help?

600ss Sprocket Carrier Bearing Removal

I've a 94' 600s which is in need of a Sprocket Carrier bearing. The Haynes manual give a different description to the unit I have. I.E There is no Circlip or Spacer.

Any ideas?

Ummmmm, ooops!
The Haynes manual is spot on.
What I thought was the face of the bearing was in fact the spacer. It's just the way they worded the text and with the dodgy pictures, threw me a bit!!
Anyway, after a few, firm whacks with a mallet, the bearings are replaced and I am now the proud owner (after 4 long weeks!) of an MOT!!
Good Times!
