Members Bike - Daimo's Ducati 600ss
Hi to all
Well where do i start? what a great site this is, full of info for my first duke.
Having come from a cbr 6 i was expecting some changes, but as times gone on i wish i had 1 sooner, anyway its a 600ss on a p plate with just over 3k miles, a pretty good find if i say so myself and fortunalty for me it came from my uncles ducati shop so understandably services and repairs are pretty much covered having a full service before i picked it up.
ok so far i have enjoyed rideing her but have noticed a few things like slight juddering around 2rpm to 4rpm but over thats fine and cold weather seems to affect the idleing at start-up but thanks to these kinds of sites i was able to observe other owners experiences of this model, and understand that they suffer from cold weather,
Anyway i am plesently surprised with the amount of attention she gets( the bike) even more so than my cbr, probally because of the neighbours i seem to wake up in the morning!!!!!!!!
It would be great to meet up with some of you at this years plymouth mega-ride.
Will post pics once i have figured out how to scale down a file size into 500k

Welcome to the site. I'm sure there are plenty of ducatisti out there who would live to meet up {there seems to be a few on here from down your way}, and we're all a friendly bunch {some can be TOO friendly :wink: }
anyway this might help with your picture resizing:

Hello Daimo, another 600ss owner in the South West!! That makes you the 1st I've come across but I'm sure there are many more in this part of the country......aren't there? Where in Devon are you? Are you aware of any clubs or meets that are worth investigating?

Blimey, i must apologize to all, this is the first time i signed back into this forum in many months.
Well were do i start, i had the greatest fun on my duke but in the end the reliability and power let me down one to many times and she had to move on to greater things back in june 07, this is when i had to go back to a cbr 600 of which my god i have missed.
But one day i will be back, maybe a 916 or somin like that but not just yet, and Dan yes that would have been my old duke, i was on my cbr when the bike nights were held.
Again i must apologize for not informing everyone the change in circumstances, but im sure the new owner will have some great fun!
