Alternative exhausts
Hi guys,
Im wondering if you could tell me if there's a decent alternative exhaust that is cheaper than buying termis. At the moment termis are out my price range and i would like to unleash that beautiful sound that standard exhausts are hiding
Cheers Mike

Silmotor, Leo Vince, Arrow, Remus - take yur pick, they're all better quality and cheaper than termis in my experience.

Hi Mike
Have you considered Racefit?
They've got their own website, failing that give them a call, ever so friendly
They make a lovely deep sound, mine's based on JT's WSB can when he rode for Ducati, my bike's in the Ads section to give you an idea of what they look like

Pull the existing baffles out, commonly known as "coring".Theres a few sites showing it done.
At the end of the day,Termignoni etc are alot of money for a perforated pipe wrapped in wadding fitted in metal/carbon tube. The clever stuff is really the pipework, but if you just want noise...ebay for a secondhand pair of silencers, and get cutting.
Not the best one on tinternet, but gives the idea:-

sil motor
hi mate,
I've got sil motor carbon exhausts on my 748 and they are incredible. Sound fantastic, great value for money and look just as good as termi's i think. The other's are right, it's all about the pipework but the quality is important as well. Never heard of g and g but I can vouch for sil motor.
Here's mine:

Thankyou for all the feed back guys!! has given me a few options
Does anyone know where you can purchase a 45mm to 50mm link pipe. Reason is, that most exhausts that come up on ebay are 50mm. so im thinking, that link pipe plus the 50mm cans will still be cheaper than buying a brand new 45mm set on cans. plus i can get the chip to suit the half system.
