Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs. Can't say enough about these tyres. They may only be good for 5-6000 miles - time will tell for me - but come rain or shine they've been brilliant.

I have to agree, only had them on for a short while, but very pleased.

I have just put standard Pirelli Diablo's on my 749 replacing Diablo Corse III's

IMHO I think both are excellent tyres

The problem you now have, is that 3 responses have given you 3 different makes

Had Pilot Power 2CTs on my 999 and they were superb.

Have just put a Pilot Road 2CT on the back and will go for same on front and see how they work out. So far so good.

Each to their own but my advice is don't get suckered in by track tyres for the road, unless of course you're also doing track days.

We don't deal with moisture like you guys do, but I have no love for the PP 2-CT's. I think they are a very marginal tire. I like the Diablo's and the Dunlop Qualifiers significantly better.

Dito ~ just fitted some of these. Recently scrubbed in, so need a few more miles to give a thumbs up, but so far, plenty of feedback and feel.

+1, just put some on my 998. They're stable & grippy so very confidence inspiring. They also tip in to corners much nicer than the OE Pilot Sports ever did.
