Ooo this one's getting spicey!!!

So me wanting to go to wheelie school would probably make me a nob?

Not wheelied on the roads apart from hard accelerating and a little lift that goes with it.

For sure anyone who wants to wheelie just wants to show off and try and impress!

You get nicked for it, dangerous riding (loosing 70%, or in our cases 99% of braking).

Seen a guy on a 1098 around my area who wheelied of every set of lights for a mile (5 sets I think). Sorry to say I was slightly impressed.

Have a fuelled the dabate? haha!

It looks for me like 749 is as good as any other bike to learn. Enough power but not enough to do power wheelie by accident like I did on S4R(except 1st gear). That is part of reason I want to learn on some bigger bikes (even 1098) wheelie can happen by accident. To minimize danger to others/my bike it will be on a car park and I am fitting this weekend fork and swing arm protectors and will need to get and fit frame sliders but need to find a good way first (not fancy hole in faring). Maybe I will get a track day set to play about.

I don't think so you will be straight out of the door.

Any idiot can wheelie a superbike. You want to see the kids round here on their 50cc rev & go mopeds. They can wheelie them for miles, standing on the seat, one handed eating an icecream, 2up, I've seen them all. It certainly impresses me, if nobody else & I'm not ashamed to admit it. The absolute most impressive thing though was a Cypriot guy (long 80s permed hair, no helmet, fag in gob, jeans & vest - you get the idea) intentionally clip a high curb on his huge quad bike, go up on 2 wheels for 100m or so, then straight into a wheelie through 3 gears & out of sight! Stupid on the road of course, but you just have to be impressed by the level of skill.

No problem Ghost. That is correct I want track day fairings to fit crush bungs and to cut a big holl in my original fairing. Second benefit would be that I could go for a track day any time I wanted to?!

Never say I don't know how to get a reaction.

I'm a c**t down the pub, after I've wheelied in to the car park and done a stoppie with 180 twist outside the door of course.

A pathetic schoolboy error I see. You should never miss off the 360 donut/burnout when you've finished to fill up the pub with thick smoke.

360 donut/burnout. Man that is so last year you finish with 360 rolling donut going through puddle of fuel, then you light your bike tyre and do more rolling burnout in smoke you created!!!

Hmm, I sense another "what's the best tyre for the 749?" thread coming on here.

If you want and are just affraid to ask murf62, this one is for you:

What is the best tyre to perform rolling burnout while having that tyre soaked in petrol and on fire?
