iam looking at a article in Clasic Bike of a Duke 750 gt frame with a Vincent V twin and to my eyes its Stunning,have any one else seen the article and whats you views

From time to time people put the engines from one manufacturer into the frame of another. Tritons from the 1960's are the obvious example. Norvins (Norton frame/ Vincent engine) were also one of those bikes which appeared. These days if I had a Vincent, I would leave it in a Vincent frame, they make a lot of money for good examples and if a good handling classic is your bag, just leave a Duke engine in your Duke! Just my two pennorth!! :wink:

I had the misfortune a couple of years ago to be lumbered with collecting & delivering a Triton for my friends father.

It was a beautiful machine to look at & in excellent condition, but an utter death trap to ride!

Complete kudos to anyone who rides a vintage bike, but the wooden brakes & bakolite carbs made it an experience I don't care to repeat.

Fortunately it is now to be an exhibit in the entrance of a building he owns, which in my honest opinion is the best place for it.
