Try Ducati Insurance 08704 106060. affiliated with Ducati UK and usually very good on price.

Try Ebike, as well. If they don't have it on their database, give them a call and they'll add it. That's what I had to do with my 695 when I got it and they added it the same day.

Marco, as I said, contact Ebike and tell them they need to add the 848 on their database; they'll do it usually the same or the next day, and then you can get a quote. They've consistently been the best for the 695. And, Ducati Insurance the worst...

They do have it. I got them to add it back at the beginning of December.

It is worth noting that Ducati Insurance wouldn't even offer me insurance on the 848 (although they would on the 1098?!!)

As a general rule, get online quotes for a 1098 and knock around 15% off... then when you have found the cheapest, phone them to adjust it for the 848.

Bennets will insure a 848, although you can't get a quote on line if you phone them in working hours they will quote as 749 and then change the model number on your policy. They quoted me just over £400 fully comp, which I thought was a fair shout.

I've found Ducati Insurance to be constantly the most expensive, once they quoted 12 x what the cheapest quote was

guys,
i don't know whether living in London increases the insurance cost, but I can't find anything below the £1300 mark (for full comprehensive). some companies don't have the 848 listed and won't add it (saying it's a "national database" thing). other companies won't quote me on a third party-fire-theft cover.
I don't know how u guys can get those £500-700 range quotes!
