Well I finally picked up my brand new 848 yesterday and thought I would put a few photos on the site. I think it looks gorgeous and it rides like a dream. I will put more down about the bike in due course but for now here a few shots taken on a blustery Margate Seafront!!

Great news Rich, I look forward to hearing your report from the TT this year compaired to last. I always thought your 749 was absolutely stunning, but looks aside it will be fun to hear how 'the mountain' feels on an 848.
Great pictures by the way and you've uploaded them fine, just a shame Margate council still haven't knocked Arlington House down yet, we live in hope!
See you back down in Devon in the Summer, we'll do a Cornwall trip this time! 8)

Hi Dan
Thanks for changing my avatar. It is a stunning looking bike and great to ride. I didn't think it could get much better than the 749 but they're like chalk and cheese!! So much more power!! Can't wait till the TT. By the way when are you going again??
Look forward to seeing you in the summer for a tour of the West Country.
Cheers Rich

Hi Tommy
I haven't been out on the bike as much as I'd have liked to due to my house being done up but so far it's been absolutely fantastic! I had a 749s before and they couldn't be much more different. The 848 has so much more power and much smoother. My brother has a S4rs and before had no trouble keeping up with me but now says he struggles. And that's with it still being run-in!! I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. It sounds amazing with Termis on. When do you get yours?
Richard

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your post, I'm glad that you are enjoying your new bike! I am hoping to collect mine next weekend (Easter Saturday), but have been told I may have to wait for the Termi's and seat cowl.....so not sure whether to collect without and just wait for the obligatory 600 miles then get them done, patience is a virtue but I don't think I'll be able to resist! Keep me posted with your experiences and I'll let you know when I've done some miles.
cheers,
Tom.
