New 848 owner!

It finally got the better of me and I went and ordered one yesterday, in red Should be taking delivery in a week, all being well. Already bought it something....those invisible paint protection sheets as I usually ride behind my other half and the front fairing looks pretty messy on my current bike. Trying to resist all the lovely carbon thingys at the moment
Can't wait to get it run in and unleashed! Hopefully see some of you out and about during the summer

I am sooo jealous!!!

I really want to have a go on one, but know that it will be a fatally expensive mistake if I do!!

that's what I am worried about!!

I test rode the Hyper and have wanted one ever since but managed to say no as it's too similar to what I already have. Problem is I don't have a road gong sports bike so the 848 would just be too tempting!!!

Congrats Grib - I'm just loving mine! Was smitten on the test ride by the cornering capability - huge grin on me face and just went back and signed on the dotted line

...and when you are done with the Carbon fairy the true evil that is the Titanium and Ohlins fairy get their claws into you (I am currently trying to fend off the advances of the Termi, Brembo, and Magnesium Fairies!)

But don't worry about that... just enjoy having one of the best bikes on the road!

Enjoy your bike Grib - I tried one and loved the ride but it was too big for me and too much of a stretch to the bars, so I ended up getting a Jap bike instead .
I still have my Monster though!
I think red is a good choice too - too many white 848s out there! (Don't hit me Jolley!) Now - if they did it in black, that would be fantastic! ( but still too big for me)

Black with a red frame, like the 1098S That thing looks lovely in the flesh.

Looks like we could start our own 848 mini group in Notts?

Go careful mate.....doesnt do the old image much good if you own up to being chased by loads of fairies.

Careful, you soon won't be able to discriminate on image like that, 'old' will not be tolerated in Brown's brave new world.

I think the Grey frame on the White 848 would look better on a Black bike (just a personal thing).

Only bad for the image if I admit I like them chasing me!

Good point Royum, I shall re-phrase that.

Jolley
Please use caution as the perception you are displaying (whilst it is your right to display any image you wish) may be tarnished, however, fairies, cross dressers and all those who choose to live an alternative life syle, and have every right to do so, can only enrich our lives with the rich mosaic of diversity that these individuals bring to our multi-cultural island.

I fully understand that as a white, middle aged meat eating, smoking hetro-sexual with no disabilities I am to blame for everything ...yet I pay for everything.
Lifes great eh.
