Oh wow!
How fantastic both you and the bike look - well done that girl!
Must admit, too scared of taking my honey out on a track day.

Very impressive Grib.
At the risk of spoiling the fun. Just got back from Nurburg (raced car on Saturday) and took my old Jag on the Ring on Sunday - three or four bends passed a rider flat out & not moving, medics there but it didn't look good. Bike was unrecognisable.
Got back and they closed the circuit for a while until a helicopter took the poor sod away. Hope he made it.
Didn't dampen the enthusiasm judging by the huge queue of Bikes waiting to go out!
Top marks to two bikers with partners on the back going for it big time (both on German plates) went past the Jag too fast to see what they were riding!
So take it easy!

Hi Delbert,
It is a Ducati 08/09 design Arai Casco 08 Stripes Helmet, from your local Ducati dealer.

Nice one, good to see them being used where they were intended I like the tinted screen, it compliments the belly pan nicely.

I borrowed Gribs 848 for a session and have to say it is one of the finest handling bikes I've ever ridden and that includes a 1098S and a sedici and numerous modified race bikes !
Its manners on track were superb holding it's own in the fast group with ease. I reckon it's good enough to race and win out the crate. You lucky sods owning one

Handles better than a 1098S? Surely that's just setup as they're the same bike essentially, barring different forks etc.

That's the theory yeh but even the 1098 owner prefers the 848 altho the frames are different tubing, the yokes are different and the 848 has a slightly different riding position. In fact they share bodywork and ancilliaries and that's it. The 848 is completely neutral and turns quick, very supersport 600 like. The 1098 is slower to turn and needs some more setting up to get rid of the understeer it feels. I'm nit picking but this is just how they feel to me. I reckon I could lap most tracks quicker on a stock 848 than a stock 1098 as it feels that easy to use and I cannot see one thing to improve on the handling, it would take a very good rider to fault the handling TBH

Ahh ok, I didn't realise there were so many differences in the chassis.
To be honest I'd want the power AND the handling so would get a 1098 and get it setup to handle well.
