Termi's or the like, but the risk of warranty issues should tell you to fit Termignoni.
High lift screen, DP.
Rear sets DP or Acculign or many others to be honest.
Sargeant seat or see recent post elsewhere on seats.
Carbon belly pan, frame covers and intake covers, DP.
Reservoir caps and frame plugs in colour to suit your taste.
Carbon key guard.
Bar end weights.
Ceramic coating to Termi system.

Where to find them?
Well this subject has been covered at such length and the options are now many and varied so suggest the search function on Ducatisti will turn up a huge number of sources, but DP parts are available from your local dealer and Ebay Italy is worth checking.

I think the one other accessory I'd consider fitting is a higher screen. The standard one doesn't do a great deal! It's already got a long, carbon hugger, which does a great job of keeping all the muck off the shock and pipes and some of that Venture Shield protection film for the paint as it chips fairly easily. Ooh and the Ventura luggage rack, which is awesome as I can carry enough cr*p for about a month in that huge bag and you barely notice it when riding Plus the rails that stay there when the rack's off look fine too.

Bike: 848 in Red.

If you find where you can purchase a shed load of skill from I would be very interested......................

Other than that get the dealer to set the bike up for your weight/style.

The rest is just good to have

Cheers all - except Stuart, I'll deal with you later matey

Very good point about set-up, Snell's demonstrator has had the forks raised in the yokes by about 15mm to lower the front and they've fitted an adjustable tie rod to raise the rear - turns quicker than a greyhound!

I've had a raised screen on a 996 and ended up with real wrist problems on long trips because it deflected the wind so much there was too much weight on my wrists for too long, so will have to wait and see on that one.

The carbon's definately happening - you can see where Ducati saved £2000 over the 1098! Not sure whether to go QB or DP. QB is about 40% cheaper and has that deep gloss finish, but it's not as light, probably glass reinforced?

Bit annoyed my trusty DP stand won't fit - has anyone had one converted/sleeved to fit the 848/1098?

Not sure about the Termis. Seems alot of money for the small rise in bhp - I've always found in the past that they rob the midrange. I know they sound great but in all honesty the standard pipes sound pretty damn good too!

Oh and Pazzo levers.

As for all the other bling I'll be trawling the interweb as usual. Interesting that no one's mentioned a steering damper, might need one if I quicken up the steering ...

Just 20 days to go ...

I bought an FG stand from eBay for £99. It's a great piece of kit and seemed reasonable money.

I don't know which one's fit it to be honest! I used the 996's stand on it when I first bought it and that was fine. It went with the bike when I sold it though, so I picked up the FG one to replace it.
