Full Akrapovic
Just taken my 848 in to have a full Akrapovic Evo Race system fitted + power commander and custom mapping. Should be ready by Friday ... can't wait.
I will have a full Termi system that I will be selling if anyone interested.
Pics coming soon .....

Nice one, always liked the Akro stuff. I take it you didn't get on with the Termis then??

Termi's are OK and prob sound a bit deeper... but prefer the look of the Akra's though.

If you were at Brands Hatch for the World Superbikes, you could
notice the difference in sound straight away!
Bayliss' bike had a more sharp twin tone with the Termignoni, very nice!
But Biaggi's bike sounded really deep and gave more thunder with the Akrapovic's!
I liked Biaggi's bike a whole lot more soundwise.
Yes, i have the Akra's too .........

I wasn't aware the powercommander was available for the 848 yet. It will be interesting to see what improvements you get. I had my 848 with termis on the dyno and it showed 125.4bhp but there was room for improvement on the fueling

They are doing a baseline with the Full Termi and race ecu and then they will custom map the Akra with power commander. I will post up the details of both when done and should give an indication of what power is on offer with both systems. Power is not my ultimate aim with the akra as i just prefer the looks but i expect it will be slightly better than the termi. I run full Akra Evo TI Systems on my Blade and GSXR600 Track bike and both had huge gains over stock components.

I am with you on the Akra's... after much deliberating I cancelled the order for the Termis and will be going with the Akra's.
Where are you getting it set up and how much is the set up cost?

Hi Mate
HM Racing are doing all the work for me. It is mapped and ready. Pick up today if it stops raining. Cost ... prob going to be a lot as the Dyno mapping had to be done by cylinder so took quite a few more runs..... but it is perfect now. Ie one cylinder will not run rich and the other lean like you end up with if not done properly.
Pm me if you want details
Cheers
Pics will be up this weekend ... bike looks f**king awesome

Hey Mate ... you won't be dissapointed in either place Let me know when you are down this way and I will pop my head in the door!
Can't wait to see the power my 848 is making now. Interested to see what the dyno graphs look like. Won't be anything like my Blade though .... 173bhp at the rear wheel

Just picked up my 848 yesterday and the Akra looks awesome .... It is making more power over the Termi all through the rev range in all gears. I will post up the dyno graphs when I get them scanned! Each cylinder has been mapped individually as well so it is running absolutely perfectly and makes a wonderful sound I am so pleased. Now the last job to get my Ohlins R&T forks fitted!!!!
