Servicing Question

Hi

Ive gone slightly over the 600mile service, and have a quick question as to whether you have to get the bike serviced at the place of sale or anothe rducati dealership?

Bought mine from Italsport in Bury but is about 1hr ride from home, whereas Ducati Manchester is 15mins......also, how much is the 1st service on avaerage?

cheers

No, I took mine to Cornerspeed as nelly's the only person I trust with my Ducati's Can't remember how much, but it's only an oil and filter and turn off the service warning thingy, so it won't break the bank.

You can have it done at DM without worrying about your warranty.

DM service prices:DUCATI PARTS & SERVICING DEALER @ DUCATI MANCHESTER UK

848 isn't lsted, but it will be similar to the 1098.

Italsport may well be a bit cheaper as I think their labour costs are lower, but I can't see it dropping low enough to offset your time/inconvenience. Worth giving them a bell though.

Also you have another 1500 miles to go before your service as all bikes now are 7500miles or annually

Not quite right there Bolds - they all have a 600 mile 1st service, which includes a safety check

Had my first service last week and the bike was on 840 miles, due to not being able to book it in for almost 3 weeks and didnt want it just sitting there. Ducati said it would be ok between 600 and 1000 miles, paid around 100 for mine

redjonnesey.

DM charged me £113 for my 600 mile service, seems to be about right.

Take it to DM without worrying about the warranty, ask nicely and they may give you a demo bike to play on whilst they service yours!!

Regards
