Are talking about the alloy bottoms of the forks or the sliders

As the sliders are Titanium Nitride coating.

aye up ghost , its the big main gold bit , in the old days it was so much easier .. the forks are stripable , the bottoms are ok and silver , the sliders are ok , its just that the main gold bit is well scuffed , pikys will tell a better story but i,ve still to get them

Peterborough Plating can do the re anodising Spike, as can Dove Anodising, Thetford.....Peterboro may be easier and better.......if you are still stuck let me know and I can get them done by the ppl that put the ceramic coating on my sprockets........The 900ss, 851 Strada and I think the 900 Monster wheels will all fit as they have the same discs, sprockets etc.....

The SP's didnt have Titanium Nitride sliders, just plain old chrome ones.......

Hi Spike

Just to let you know, the fork seals were redone just before I bought the bike. You might want to be careful with these ones so you don't have to replace them again as they are apparently hard to get hold of. Seals from an entirely different bike fit perfectly; I'll find out which ones for you.

If you cant get Termis Spike, Sil Moto did some of the smaller diameter carbon cans that were the same as the Termis....all that smaller bore so your feet didnt hit them.....there used to be a company in, I think it was Haywards heath, called Carrera Sport that used to have a lot to do with the old 888's.....and I've a feeling thats where Steve ( now at Moto Rapido ) cut his teeth back in the 90's.......
Originally the headers were Matt Black too, so a quick clean up with a bead blaster and a squirt of paint and they'll come up like new.....

Spike,
The cans on your bike are oval section, which's why I said they've got to go!
As Dave has said Silmoto's are a good substitute, it doesn't really matter what subframe you've got, you just need to make the right hangers for the cans.

Steve
