OIL Recommendations please.

Hello all, I am a noob and need to know which engine oils you fellas recommend. My research throws up Castrol Power1 Racing 4T 10w-40. Is that OK?

Welcome aboard 'DoubleV'

I use a Motul 15-50 fully synthetic, just a bit thicker than the 10-40.

Cheers, is that due to how the oil system works, using some thicker stuff can cling to surfaces that may not get enough during startup?

It's partly that, but also as mine is an aircooled twin it does get very hot and the thicker oil will hold up better (IMHO).

There is bound to be differing views on this, but as long as it's fully synthetic i'm sure either will do the job.
