Why not buy a set of DB killers (small baffles that fix into the end of the cans) they sell them on fleabay, a lot cheaper than buying a new set of cans and you can take them out for the sunday ride outs everyone's happy...

John
loud? surely noooo???
When i had a policeman on bike follow me for my evaluation ride during "bikesafe" last year he described the sound from the back as "music"
I ride off to work at all times of the day... i know how to set off car alarms! i also know that if i "restrain" myself i can get away by not setting them off... depends on what mood i'm in

I recently bought a set of Fast by Ferracci "Forza" cans off Flea Bay in superb condition

Now they are....LOUD

Much more so than Termi's....but as they weren't stamped "Not for Road Use" the MOT wasn't a problem. I did offer to put the standard cans on but the nice man say....

....No problemo

I'm looking for some carbon highmounts for my Superlight.

Interested in doing a swap (I have Staintune stainless) depending on the brand and condition of the pipes you have.

Mine are in perfect condition - only interested in a swap for the mufflers (NOT the spaghetti headers)

John,

I would take Dufuss up on this. Especially if he has the removable baffle's still. The Staintune aren't the lightest, but most definitely the best built IMHO. I was lucky enough to buy a set of new low mounts two years ago for $600. And would have bought the hight mounts if they were available. Now, (including the Bernanke weakened dollar) they're over $1050. And you never have to re-pack them. Very civilized with the tip baffle in, much less so with them out.

Get his phone number before he changes his mind.

Although I'd love to say yes, on closer inspection my cans are tatty....there's no name on them (no branding at all) and there's a small split in the carbon.

If after all that you still want to then YES.....but I wouldn't !!

Cheers

Thanks for being honest.

Shame really as we both could have benifited. Good luck with your search.
