Mark,

I fitted an additional oil cooler thanks to Baines at Silverstone - if fits very neatly between the frame and fairing on the LHS of the bike. My camera is currently on a fly drive trip round the States and won't be back until next Tues (long story) but I will take some photos and let you see when it gets back from its holidays...

Interestingly when I got mine Baines had a highly tuned 900SS that had twin additional coolers, one on each side - it was solely used for trackdays.

Cheers

Rich

wicked!!!!!! Adrian, you got the lot from baines? incl the brackets? MMMMMM how much?

Rich, it'll be interesting to see your setup... ditto: how much?

This idea of extra cooler (coolers?) just wont go away now especially since finding that neat little gadget called oil thermostat which means the extra cooling will only kick in should the oil temp rise... i feel some imminent wallet bashing lurking around the corner

Mark

Hi Mark,

Sorry for the delay in replying - work...

My set up is exactly the same as Adrian's - Baines sell the kit - oil cooler, the mounting brackets as shown in Adrian's photo and the oil lines. If memory serves it was around 80 for the oil cooler and brackets and another 80 odd for the oil lines.

It does fit very well and if you can make up hoses yourself you would save a bit I guess.

May also need to pick your brains re my spaghetti headers - will be doing some checking tomorrow

Cheers

Rich

Mark,
Sorry for the delay in replying....Can't remember the cost but I'm sure Rich is about right, his set up is the same! Have a look at
Additional Oil Cooler..(..and a bit about spaghetti headers) for the details.
