Sold my 900ssie
Subject to being collected next week, I have sold the old girl. It was cool to have two Ducati's in the garage for a while, but riding the Multi during the week meant I did not get out at the weekend and the 900 just sat there looking lonely. The guy that is buying has joined the forum and I hope it is as good to him as it has been to me.
Good luck Michael and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Starting a new life with just me and the multi.
Steve

You safely assume wrong detective it is still a slow starter, but once running it seems fine. I have it booked in for a dyno run in about 2 weeks to check fuelling etc. I shall post any dramatic findings then.

Well the bike has gone, this dodgy character came down and stole it from under my nose. He also had the gall to smile as he rode it away. Some people have no shame.
As I write he is riding it 350 miles back to Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wier.
Good luck Michael, I hope the bike runs well for you and look after the old girl please.

Stole your 900SSie!
Yep, kept smiling all the way home, even through the torrential 3 hour Northern down pour!
Thanks again Steve, she's a superb bike in every respect and really does you proud. Now looking forward to a weekend of polishing and riding and have already had some envious looks from other riders. Will be in touch very soon for an update.
Cheers.
ps. gave in to the earplugs after 200 miles!!

Ha Ha! I knew the earplugs would go in eventually. I prefer to ride with them in as it still allows the induction noise and exhaust, but eliminates annoying wind noise and the mechanical crashing of the engine, which does become tiring.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts once you have really got used to it and have explored the full power and handling, if you have'nt already
Will get your gear up to you some time this week.
