luggage for superlight ?

I'm off to the Manx in August and need either a tailpack or tankbag as throw overs would be no use because of the high level exhausts anyone got any idea's as to which is best ? thanks

Baglux do a tank cover & tank bag for the 900SS/SL in red.

I had the same dilemma, I have a superlight seat and high level exhausts. Someone with a similar setup recomended Buffalo throwovers, but I got hold of a set of Oxford sports panniers that M+P were doing for £40. Works fine, comes with a protective rubber 'grip' sheet to protect the paint on the seat.

The baglux tankbag and tank cover system is excellent. i would highly recommend it, had them for my ZZR600 the Ducati and my Beemer 850 GS (even though touratech do a marvelous system for that bike)

I would have thought a tailpack or seatpack, would be fine, just protect the paintwork thats all, after all it's supposed to sit where the pillion would on a two seater and that shouldnt foul the exhausts.

When I was younger and bendier I used to tour everywhere on my SL with a medium sized magnetic tank bag (an Oxford one) and a small rucksack. The single seat tailpiece is not really suited to a decent tailpack - the most I ever did was bungee my waterproofs on there.

Bagster tank bag and harness and Kriega R20 for my trip to the TT, seriously impressed with the Kriega - you really don't feel like it is on, so much so I swapped it for an R35 so I could put less in the tank bag!! Still don't know it is on even when fully loaded.
