It is undoubtedly a triple bagger!!

Yeah i second that!!! Yoyks!

But... Steve... isnt there a way of fitting some of the carby stuff to the bike or is the frame that significantly different? Just an idea... Then i know its a pain in the arse but why not re-paint it like in some of the colours we all bandied around on here a few months back (mike hailwood colours etc etc)? I'll get back to you tonight re them few bits i wanted from you...stuck at work at mo and cant get to my emails.

Different note:

re: Malvern... you know despite living in glos i've never ever been there? My bike goes into Tims at motovation on fri for service etc etc.. but i'll be on hol from then on for 2 weeks.. and it'd be pretty cool to meet up with some of you guys and girls some sunday for a local-ish blast (i think i should manage to fit that in nicely between Gloucester Blues Festival and Cider Festival )
Keep us posted if you guys are out and about..as i said it'd be good to meet up

Mark

Possible thread hijack - my Superlight is yellow and she is called Daisy and I love her and anyone that says anything bad about her I'll see you (lot...) outside - now

A little birdy tells me Mark's service is not going to be such good value as previously - he has apparently developed an unhealthy obsession for the substance magnesium - he was in fact, speechless for nearly 10 minutes and was seen to caress a pair of mag engine cases in an almost "Gollum - my precious" kind of way...

Watch out for the additional bolt-ons Mark!!!

PS. Mark, please don't ask Tim what we are planning when you see him on Fri, I am seeing him on Tues...

"So magnesium is the must have for this season" ...carbon is so last year !

I wonder if George has seen some of these casings who am I kidding, he's probably fitting a set as we speak...

Any more thoughts for a new colour Steve, or is that yellow growing on you... what about a retro silver and blue like Cook Neilson's 'old blue' i've always fancied doing a version of that on an SS.

Silly question...Magnesium casings were one of the first things I bought last year...

The clutch side fits as a direct bolt on replacement... the generator side doesnt, it needs some grinding on the inside, and has the generator wiring in a different position than on the standard 91-97 SS.

when I get back from Bucharest this weekend I will pop down to the guru who is doing my engine and see if I can take a photo of the inside of the casing where it was grinded...er ground?.. er altered to fit!

Oh this forum................... it should carry a health warning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dropped bike off today at Tims for its yearly.......... err, no, no magnesium today, i must resist........though there was a discussion on titanium..... and whilst waiting for the "ex" to turn up and take me home got totally absorbed in conversation with Tim and Jake.......Anyway, other than a service and God knows how it looks like i'll be spending a few £'s more than expected... i must have "MUG" written on my forehead.... as it was the "ex" had been waiting over half an hour... ah sod it i love my bike!!!!!!!

Thats what I was like too Mark, the girlfriend just didnt understand when I explained yes they are worth zillions of euros, just feel how light they are... tsk women eh?

mmm red/white/and green...yep with you on that one

However Red and silver like the NCR racers would look nice if tastefully done (not ala latest MHR thats for sure).

I must admit I also like the Red/yellow of the TT1 pantah racers.

Mark,
I received your email, No worries

Not sure if the carb stuff will fit, But this is not what i want to do really!
The looks have grown on me, and so has the colour.
The swap idea was to keep cost's to zero, Racing has skint me.
I'm still looking to do a swap.
I also have a red 1/2 faired SS body kit available minus tank.

Question,
Is there a pillion seat cover available for the SSIE ?
Thanks
