Ooh, I'm dead jealous! I saw that one in Biketrader a while back, looked really nice. PS are a long way from me otherwise I would have gone and had a look, I did call them and asked about possibility of part xing my 748R, but didn't follow it up.

I have a pdf manual for 916, got it from duc.nu>> ducati workshop manuals, spare parts catalogs & user manuals (before they started charging for them) they're not expensive but I can email it to you if you want to save a couple of quid.
As regards the overlay sticker on the speedo, my 916 came with one fitted to the kmh speedo and it looked crap, I bought an mph speedo on ebay for about £30.

Congrats Ian - well done, i was wondering if anyhting happened bout the bike!
As for the charger - i dont actually use one, the bike sits for weeks/months at a time and has always started perfectly! What tyres are you on? i have found cornering easier when i changed from Dunlop to Super Corsas - different profile on the front. I also now have 5 spoke Marchesinis which are a bit lighter.
All the best with your purchase - i hope you get as much pleasure out her as i do mine. They are very easy to ride arent they!
oh and yeah i just replaced my regulator too

That looks lovely. Ace bikes, the 916.
I've been wondering about what i can replace mine with if the time ever came, and it'll probably be an 848 or if i'm really lucky, a 1098.
Would prob still keep the 916 tho'. They're very special

Just had a nice blast on mine this evening as it was a pleasant day here (for once). Had a great little chase with a RSV Mille i pulled out behind. Brightened up a little evening run out!

Yeah, you'd think they were made of gold from the price! but I think Aluminium is lighter and stronger.......

Ah, but Mark, you got it so cheap there is an obligation for you to redress the balance by buying LOTS of bling for it!
