Just having a quick nose around in here and saw that funkyrimplers bike has mesh in the fairing panels...!!!

Could I be really cheeky and ask to see some close up shots of them and some rear quarter shots to see what it looks like....please, please, please....!!!

Also, where did you get it from and how much did it cost you....???

Cheers in advance

Did you pinch those Wheels from Karen DD?

I like the look of black wheels on the Dukes. Are they new?

They are very similar to 848 wheels but a slightly different spoke shape, they are Marchesini 10 spoke forged Aluminium, I've had them 2 years & they are much, much lighter than my old 3-spokes and, IMO look much better too (if not original), only downsides are that they are harder to clean although being black I can leave them longer and bleeding the rear brake is harder, especially if I want to remove the caliper as it means removing the wheel first whereas before I could 'reach' in.

Not cheap but they totally rejuvenated the bike, making it turn much easier & better, even making it feel faster and the brakes better - by far the best performance mod I've made.

I fitted one of those, but after about a year it packed up. It didn't like getting wet when I washed the bike off

If anyone knows of a watertight alternative I'd be pleased for a link.

I have one, been on about 3 years, just yesterday I lost the first digit so it now shows 3.5v instead of 13.5, bike has been wet more this year than ever before but I'm planning on getting a new one as I think they are a useful indicator.

You got a really weird result with that first shot Laz, the way the car rear window makes the top of the bike's tank look larger and painted black, and then the way the line of the car's side windows flows faultlessly into the line of the upsweep of the bike exhaust.
Very artistic.
