Question 916 mirrors

Helo All
Does anyone on this group know how the glass in the mirrors are attached as I would like to know if it is possibble to stop the damm things moveing about .

have a look in the middle/bottom run of the mirror body small
hole and you need a small philips screw driver and nip the screw up
its like a ball and socket jiont set up. do a search dan has a pic
of it carnt do linky sorry

I had to swap the glass in my mirror yesterday as my mirror casing broke and the used replacement I bought had scratched glass. As said there is a ball/socket with a philips head screw & nut to tighten it, accessed through the hole in the bottom of the mirror - tip if loosening the screw don't loosen much or the nut falls off and you'll have to take the glass out to replace it.

If you have to take them apart use a dab if threadlocker when you re-install.
