Race Replica Sticker Kits?

Need an opinion on the race rep sticker kits you can buy on fleabay; Infostrada Foggy rep etc......

Do we think cheap and tacky - leave the bike as she was made, or, kinda ok if done professionally??

My bike is a 996 Bip, she has a white number board, and am toying with the sticker idea....

Your opinions wil be appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Chees in advance guys

Unless it's a proper Bayliss rep / Bostrom rep etc my personal preference is : Stickers of all kind suck.

Cheers ziggi, i think deep down my opinion is the same, if you want to look like a race rep just buy a real one instead of puttin some stickers on it!!??!!

Your view on the white numberboard...? Came with it on the bike, think it'd be a bitch to get off anyway!!

I would leave the white number board on - I think they look kinda good on their own but I am definitely on board with Ziggi re the sticker kit - if you want an Airfix model buy one...

I have a sticker kit on my 999!

it just makes it more personal to me!

Just wanted a break from all of that red paint!!

Had a Rizla Race Rep GSXR600 before the 999!!!

Just need time to get use to the bike being one colour again!!!!

Trial and Error is the only way I feel!!

Cheers love7473.. Did you put them on or did a pro do it?

There's stacks of kits on fleabay, but also Dukes do look good one solid colour........

I guess if it aint broke then dont try and fix it....??!!!!!!!!!

748/9** look best standard IMHO, whereas 749/999 take race rep schemes really well. Dunno why. Not even very keen on the official ltd edition paint jobs on the 748/9** series such as the Foggy rep, although the Bostrom rep is so over the top it is very cool!

If they make your bike go faster, by all means put them on. If not, what's the point?

Get it off and get it painted with the correct pin stripe edge. Some of them do look good especially on a race version of the top fairing.
