Rock chip on white number plate

I just got a rock chip on my white number plate. Is there any repair recommendations beyond taking it in and getting the number plate replaced? Has anyone tried any white touch up paint?

Thanks

ArmorCoat

Well, the rock chip on my front fairing is not as bad as it seems- it nicked the number plate but did not chip the paint underneath. Since I have a tape numberplate I can easily get it replaced with a $35.00 replacement.

What irritates me is that I just had all of my fairings painted this past January! This motivated me to look for realistic solutions for rock chips:

1.) Buy a cheap set of Hong Kong race replica fairings and store my OEM fairings.

or

2.) Have my OEM fairings stripped and painted again, and then coated in ArmorCoat.

My question: Has anyone here tried either of these options? Or do you have a suggestion on dealing with rock chips?
