Some more.

Getting set up to set the squish. Engine rebuilt with new belts and timed up of course. Frame, subframe and swing arm repainted. With a few other goodies added. Ready in time for late spring/summer time.

Wahhoo.

yeah, great post...nice to some some internals being developed thru a sequence. Always a surprise to see how short the stroke is on modern Duc's compared to the bore.....enjoy the build and the results....cheers

The Frame has been spray painted. Thought about powder coat but what the hell. Give paint a try.

The standard paint that was on the frame was in a poor state due to wear and tear and old age. The red paint seems good/tough so thought, go for it. Give it a try.

Gonna see how It goes for now.

DC you said "The red paint seems good/tough so thought, go for it. Give it a try."

You also forgot that RED is the fastest!

Great to see the bike in the stages of rebuild. Have you worked out total costs ? Or are you too scared to add up everything. I was just wondering as I am thinking of doing the same thing in the future but wouldnt have a CLUE what this would cost

That engine looks great, almost a shame to put a fairing over it. It must be really satisfying. Great job.
